Our Story
In December, 2010, Taco Bell introduced to the world the Beefy Crunch Burrito. Filled with Flamin' Hot Fritos, this burrito was a spicy, crunchy game changer on the Taco Bell menu. (This was before any of the Doritos Locos Tacos, or regular Fritos Burrito.)
So when Taco Bell discontinued the burrito in May, 2011, fans ran to social media to express their anger and demand Taco Bell to bring it back!
Thus began the joint effort of tens of thousands of people to rally together in ONE VOICE, as the "Beefy Crunch Movement." (Also known as 3 Million Fans to bring back the Beefy Crunch Burrito, or 3MF)
Since May 12th, 2011, fans have shown their passion and dedication for the Beefy Crunch unseen for any other Taco Bell item. We have 66,000+ fans on our Facebook Page, 10 Tattoos, people skydiving, taking road-trips across the country, to flags and cartoons, and making thousands of paper swans. There were times you couldn't look at a Facebook Post on Taco Bells page without seeing hundreds of comments and pictures all asking for the Beefy Crunch.
While our primary focus is on Social Media, we've updated this website to highlight just how much we've done over the last 13 years. No doubt we've missed a lot but here are key moments, events, fans, etc... that we want to share and make sure is never forgotten.
This movement is an amazing story that deserves to be told. So keep on telling it.

ROADTRIPS
Weston and Patrick drove to Louisville, KY for the regional test in 2015. Patrick also helped giveaway Beefy Crunch Burritos while he was there!
Rebecca drove 5,000 miles from California to Louisville, KY for the regional test!
Garrett and Natasha drove across the country to Chattanooga, TN

Dominating the Comments
In 2015, the Beefy Crunch Movement went to 'social media war' with #operationannoyingAF, with the goal of dominating the conversation so much, Taco Bell would be forced to respond.
But even before that, the Beefy Crunch Burrito littered the comments sections of Taco Bells posts. Picture comments have now been disabled and algorithms do not allow the most liked comments to stay at the top but luckily I took some screenshots!
The 2016 Promotion!!
In 2016, Taco Bell introduced the whole "Fan Favorites" theme.
The Beefy Crunch Burrito (And the original Cheesy Double Beef Burrito) were the pioneers of what was to be "Fan Favorites" and future menu items were to be rotated based on passion, and engagement on social media. (lol)
This promotion was a fantastic collaborative effort between the Beefy Crunch Movement and Taco Bell. Our logo was even featured on the wrappers for the burrito!
A great example of what can happen when we work together and fans are able to show how much this burrito means to us.
During this promotion, the Beefy Crunch Movement was officially added along side the Beefy Crunch Burrito on the timeline at HQ!
Flags
When the Beefy Fritos Burrito became permanent in 2014, we rebranded to the Beefy Crunch Movement, and later that year the idea of creating a flag and making it a mission to see it raised at Taco Bell HQ was born.
I wanted to give our movement a symbol that our community could rally behind, and that would send a message to Taco Bell that we would not give up in our pursuit of the Beefy Crunch. It very quickly became an iconic symbol of everything we have done over the last 5 years and became a manifestation of our Movement coming outside of our phones and into the real world.
Almost Permanent in 2018!
In 2018, Taco Bell did a regional test of the Beefy Crunch Burrito in Chattanooga, TN, to test a solution that could bring the burrito back permanently for 2019. Apparently they were "close. Real close!"
While the test ultimately failed, this shows just how special this burrito is to their brand.
We will continue to fight for a permanent solution, but right now we will settle for a Limited Time promotion in the interim!
Once every 5 years is NOT ENOUGH.
Reviews
There are many reviews of the Beefy Crunch Burrito on Youtube. Here are just a few, but HAD to highlight the review from the HodgeTwins. It makes me hungry just watching the videos!!!
Comics
These cartoons were drawn by Richard back in the early years of the Movement. That's why you'll see "3MF" on all the comics. :)
